writer & editor

b. 1986, HK.

I'm a Los Angeles-based freelance journalist with a professional background in architectural history and historic preservation. I was born in Dallas and raised in the heart of L.A. by parents with New York City roots, a combo that made for a particularly great geographical mix. (Shalom, y'all.) I have a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, and an M.A. in Urban Planning from UCLA.

An incurable generalist, I contribute to a range of print and digital media outlets, mostly covering food, design, and travel, as well as whatever else I can learn about while dragging along my two kids and TV writer/producer husband. To summarize: I love writing about interesting people doing compelling, creative work.
